Wolves at the Door

Alone in the dark, and far from hope.
You're troublingly trapped, mentally in stone.

Vicious wolves, come in inky black.
Covered with your blanket, flat on your back.

Tears flow freely, of running with pack.
Afraid if you run, you'll never run back.

Yet you just lay there, wanting, and dreaming.
Trapped alone in the stone, of your own dark breeding.

Temptation is Evil, your told to ignore.
Temptation primeval, is forever scorn.

Then while waiting, alone and cold, wolves did dig, through cobbled old stone.

Taken by force, while wasting away,
off in to the night, you went one day.

Nothing was left, but memories of fear.
All never done, year after year.

All that fear, of what might transpire,
It came anyway, like a plague of fire.

While wallowing away, in your fear of Life mired.
Death stole you away, with secret desire.

The moral to all, so plain to see,
is summed in fear, not memories.

For as you waited, all covered in fear, Life came for you, and was forever near.

So live out your dreams, thoughts and all wanted.
Lay not dormantly scared,and haunted.

Dash all your fears.
Run free by night.
Dispel the dangers, believed through your life.

All your days fearing, of Wolves giving chase,
are always worse, than joining their race.

Heed my words well, experience no liar.
The Wolves are coming, for your dreams, desires.

Live not your life dreaming, slowly wasting away.
Sink your teeth in to life and feast on the today!

The Wolves are here, we are at your door.
Join our race now, or we feast evermore!
