First year to vote and decided to give it to the Green Party - by far the most progressive party where I live (probably a bit too progressive for the average over 30 voter which is really kind of sad if you think about it) Studies in psychology and human development indicates a clear arc, humans become more expansive in their love of other beings as time goes by.

Humans continue to progress in this manner. From what I understand the GP is fiscally conservative and socially progressive (isn’t that the way to go for the younger voter who wants to move forward and see change for the better? I dunno about you but that makes all the sense in the world to me.). I think that’s the fundamental difference between an American liberal (American lib doesn’t = Canadian lib :)) and an American Progressive - but they share a lot of values. They only got 8% of the vote around here and I think a few people who might have voted for the GP voted Liberal because they were afraid the NDP might get more seats. The general idea of the GP seems to be that they are either not fiscally conservative or that they are a bunch of tree hugging lefties (which in some minds = lack of enough brain power to make decisions) (perhaps it’s because the word green is part of their name – that’s really sort of unfortunate too) neway they’ve got to be a whole lot more vocal to interest the younger generation.
I work at this place called the dairy queen where the manager still makes me quake despite having worked there for way too long. Thinking about the first week still makes me want poke myself in the eye :) (I was 15 then) The manager wouldn't stop yelling at me for failing to create the perfect ice cream ball (you pull the lever and go up and down :P); in the end I cried in the back room. Even today I make them perfectly when she isn't around but when she insists on watching me do it my hand starts shaking like i've got severe muscle spasms :) the result - she ends up going off on me and telling me how very incompetent I am :) Despite the slip ups I love working there and I work with some of the most hilarious and kind people. It’s the most fun I can have with my pants on.Like every human I have bad days and good days. you’ll watch me be sad sometimes - I guess that’s just life isn’t it? I have days when I’m stressed and for some odd reason it’s sort of fun to go on blogtv.
I blog and I don't talk and it makes some people mad and it amuses others :) it amuses me :) but if you don't like me that's okay too. Feel free to judge or hang out as you please it's okay by me. I like to meet new people… nice people… anyone everyone so add me if you like :)Akiira
